The body of Mr Sean Byrne, an 88-year-old man missing overnight from Gorey District Hospital in Co Wexford, was found yesterday afternoon on a building site a mile from the hospital.
The retired bachelor farmer lived alone following the death some years ago of his sister, Mary Anne. A patient in the hospital since December, Mr Byrne had gone missing on a previous occasion before returning safely.
