Freed BBC journalist Alan Johnston has arrived back in Britain after his 114-day stint in captivity in Gaza.
Mr Johnston, who was freed by his captors on Wednesday, landed at Heathrow airport this afternoon.
He is expected to fly up to Glasgow to be reunited with his parents in Lochgoilhead, Argyll, later today.
Mr Johnston (45), was kidnapped by gunmen from a group calling itself the Army of Islam on March 12th. He had been working as the BBC's Gaza correspondent for three years.
There followed an international campaign to secure his release, which involved politicians, faith leaders and fellow colleagues. Since being set free, he has been recuperating at the British Consulate in Jerusalem.
Mr Johnston's parents, Graham and Margaret, spoke of how they "never lost hope" during the family's ordeal.
