Three members of the Defence Forces were presented with distinguished service medals by the Minister for Defence, Mr Barrett, at a ceremony at Collins Barracks in Cork yesterday.
They were: Sgt Michael Fleming of the 12th Battalion, Clonmel, Co Tipperary; Cpl Timothy McCarthy of the 3rd Garrison Ordnance Company, Collins Barracks, Cork; and Cpl Aidan O'Halloran of the 3rd Garrison Military Police Company, Collins Barracks, Cork.
