A man charged in connection with the seizure of cannabis worth between €5 million and €6 million was granted bail of €150,000 yesterday.

Mr Raymond Molloy (30), with an address at Slade Valley Equestrian Centre, Rathcoole, Co Dublin, was charged with possession of the drug for supply or sale in Rathcoole on August 16th.

Dublin District Court heard that gardaí had no objection to bail providing a substantial independent bond was provided and certain conditions were imposed.

Judge David Anderson set bail at €600 with an independent bond of €150,000 and a requirement that he lodge €50,000 in cash before being released. He remanded him in custody with consent to bail to appear in Cloverhill District Court on September 12th.
