Two teenagers have been arrested after a petrol bomb attack on an SDLP election team in Co Tyrone.

Two teenagers have been arrested after a petrol bomb attack on an SDLP election team in Co Tyrone.

The  device was discovered under their car in Coagh by canvassers for Assembly candidate Patsy McGlone last night. There were no injuries.

A short time later police stopped a car and arrested the youths on suspicion of criminal damage by arson and possession of a petrol bomb. They were later released pending further inquiries.

The attack has been condemned by several political parties.
