Mr John Lucey, the outgoing general secretary of the defence forces representative organisation, PDFORRA, has been re-elected for a second term. He said his immediate priority was to work towards a resolution of the deafness issue.
He warned that PDFORRA would "not support any divisive scheme that has the potential to create even greater and more widespread negative attention than previously experienced".
