A raid by an armed gang on a post office in Ardfinnan, Co Tipperary this morning is being investigated by gardaí.
The masked men, one reportedly armed with a sledgehammer, entered the post office around 11 o'clock and took what is described as a small amount of cash.
The gang left in a dark coloured Ford Mondeo. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
