There is no longer any need to go to Paris or London for a fix of these jewel-like Ladurée macaroons, which taste as exquisite as they look.
The Parisian company’s delicacies went on sale yesterday from a “Ladurée Carosse” or carriage, at the entrance to the Fine Jewellery Hall in Brown Thomas, Dublin. They are available in 15 flavours, including favourites such as rose, lemon, pistachio and praline, and seasonal specials such as bergamot, coconut and almond. Encased in their pretty, decadent packaging, they make wonderful gifts. A box of six costs €12.90.
