DECISION TO GRANT

Location: St Columba's College, College Rd, Kilmashogue Lane, Whitechurch, Rathfarnham, D16. Proposed development: Retirement home on a 1.4-hectare site. The site contains an item of archaeological interest known at St Sabb's Well (protected structure). The development is a three-storey retirement home of 122 bedrooms, ancillary residential and staff facilities including diningrooms, chapel, pharmacy, interview rooms, reception rooms, nursing rooms, ancillary administrative office, plant, ESB substation, storage area, 34 surface level car-parking spaces and site services. Location: Santry Demesne, Santry, D9. Proposed development: Erect a five-storey office building over basement car-park on part of lands. DECISION TO GRANT

Location: Former natural gas retail showroom, O'Connell Bridge House, D'Olier St, D2. Proposed development: Relocation of Bus Stop newsagents/convenience store to a larger unit with revised signage, new lighting and upgrading of fenestration in this Street Integrated Area Plan/Special Planning Control Scheme/Architectural Conservation Area. Location:32A Terenure Synagogue, Rathfarnham Rd, D6W (formerly No. 36 AKA No. 33). Proposed development: Construct a 292-seat replacement synagogue and 35 apartments over basement car-park. Demolition of 791 sq m (8,514 sq ft) of buildings comprising a synagogue, caretaker's lodgings, security kiosk and gates, entrance porch to existing hall and two single storey storage sheds. Location: Ormond Quay Hotel, 7-11 Ormond Quay Upr, and Strand St Little, D7. SOUTH DUBLIN

Location: Lands (2.05 acres) adjacent to the eastern side of the Green Isle Hotel, accessed from Boot Rd, D22 and flanked by the N7 to the south.
