KILMAINHAM FROM €392,000EIGHT OWN-DOOR apartments and duplexes in a development of 20 homes near St James's Hospital in Kilmainham, Dublin 8, are for sale this weekend at prices up to 20 per cent lower than the prices paid when they first went for sale in autumn 2006.

The last eight units in Camac View on Kilmainham Lane will cost from €392,000 to over €500,000.

When they initially went for sale from plans in October 2006, the 83-96sq m (894-1,033sq ft) homes cost from €500,000 to over €550,000.

They are being sold through Gunne New Homes.

The 20 apartments, built over five levels by developers Derek and Noel Stenson of Celbridge-based Emerge Properties, are now built and ready to move into.

Included in the price are kitchen fittings - oven, gas hob, integrated fridge/freezers - and "smart home" technology. The developer will include flooring for customers who return contracts within 21 days.

A limited number of underground car-parking spaces are available for €30,000 each.

The apartments have balconies, some with views of the River Camac. The development is near the Luas.
