The market-gardening north county Dublin town of Rush continues to grow with the launch this weekend of Brookford, a development of 52 three and four-bedroom houses off Park Road on the Dublin side of the village.
The Brookford houses come in five different designs and range in size from a three-bedroom townhouse with floor area of 89 sq m (958 sq ft) to the largest, detached four-bedroom with a floor area of 120 sq m (1,292 sq ft).
Prices begin at €255,000 and go up to €380,000, the starting price for the four-bed detached. The selling agent is Leahy Property Consultants and Kelly & Co.
The Brookside houses were designed by architects Whelan Corcoran Smith and the builder is Swiftcourt Developments Ltd, most recently responsible for developments in Donabate and Swords.
The first phase will be available in June this year and the entire development is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The four-bedroom detached houses are all on large corner sites. The three-bed semi-detached has a traditional double-fronted design with the living/family area to one side of the entrance hallway and the kitchen cum diningroom on the other. The main bedroom in this design is en suite and has a walk-in wardrobe. Prices for this design begin at €275,000.
The other three-bedroom houses are terraced. Similar in layout, they have a good-sized kitchen cum diningroom to the front and livingroom stretching the width of the house to the rear. The main bedroom is en suite and all three have built-in wardrobes. Prices for these begin at €255,000.
Offering variety, an end-of-terrace three-bedroom townhouse comes with the design difference of a bay window over the kitchen/dining area. Prices for this style begin at €265,000.
