Cashmere for Nepal

Six of these lovely scarves handwoven in Kathmandu weeks before the devastating earthquake are being donated by designer Lucy Downes of Sphere One to six of her Irish stockists as part of her fund raising effort for Nepal. Havana and Clothes Peg in Dublin, Juju in Greystones, Samui in Cork, Kalu in Naas and Kimono in Newcastle West will sell €20 raffle tickets and the winners will receive one of these giant superfine scarves. Downes has been working with artisans in Kathmandu for the past 12 years who handloom, handknit and handframe the finest cashmeres she sends from Scotland and Italy into her wearable pieces. For contact details of each boutique and raffle tickets, see sphereone.ie
