Arsenal (5) v Wigan (10) England full-back Ashley Cole is expected to start again with Gael Clichy (leg) still not fit while veteran striker Dennis Bergkamp returns to the Arsenal squad. Emmanuel Adebayor (sinus infection) is a concern but Abou Diaby (ankle) and Lauren (knee) are both long-term absentees. Arjan de Zeeuw, John Filan and Ryan Taylor are all injured for Wigan, while Gary Teale serves a one-match ban. Midfielder Josip Skoko is back following his loan spell at Stoke.

Aston Villa (16) v Sunderland (20)

Villa's leading scorer Milan Baros is fit after a hamstring injury. Jlloyd Samuel may miss out after being sent home from training suffering from tonsillitis. His fellow defenders Martin Laursen and Mark Delaney remain ruled out with knee problems.

Sunderland have injury problems, with several players rated doubtful. Justin Hoyte and Anthony Le Tallec face late fitness tests and caretaker manager Kevin Ball also waits on the fitness of Julio Arca, Liam Lawrence and Jon Stead. Striker Stephen Elliott has no chance of overcoming an Achilles problem.

Blackburn (6) v Man City (15)

With sixth place and UEFA Cup football secured for next season, Blackburn could bring in some fringe players. Definitely out are centre-backs Ryan Nelsen and Andy Todd, while midfielder Steven Reid is doubtful with a back injury.

City manager Stuart Pearce could ring the changes. Sylvain Distin and Antoine Sibierski might come into contention after missing the defeat by Arsenal because of knocks.

Bolton (8) v Birmingham (18)

Ricardo Gardner has been ruled out for Bolton because of a knee injury. But defender Bruno N'Gotty could return to the squad following a groin problem. Stelios Giannakopoulos and Gary Speed are both hoping to be reinstated to the starting line-up.

Relegated Birmingham are set to recall on-loan midfielder Nicky Butt — who will return to Newcastle this summer. Jiri Jarosik, Chris Sutton and Mario Melchiot play their last matches for the club.

Everton (11) v West Brom (19)

Mikel Arteta could return for Everton's final game of the season. The club's player of the year has been struggling with an ankle problem and missed the last four games.

West Brom defender Martin Albrechtsen will miss the finale of the season with a broken toe so reserve right-back Jared Hodgkiss could come in. Neil Clement (knee), Thomas Gaardsoe (groin) and Richard Chaplow (knee) are ruled out after surgery.

Fulham (14) v Middlesbrough (13)

Fulham will be without skipper Luis Boa Morte and centre-back Ian Pearce. Boa Morte (groin) and Pearce (knee) were both injured in last night's defeat at Sunderland but Antti Niemi, who missed the Stadium of Light clash to have a scan on his knee, should return. Zat Knight faces dental surgery and is absent, while Papa Bouba Diop, who ended the Sunderland match in defence, is doubtful with a sore hamstring.

Middlesbrough skipper Gareth Southgate (hamstring), plus strikers Mark Viduka (thigh) and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (hamstring), will not be risked ahead of next Wednesday's UEFA Cup final. One of Brad Jones, Ross Turnbull and David Knight will play in goal.

Man Utd (2) v Charlton (12)

United have minor doubts over Louis Saha and Cristiano Ronaldo, who picked up knocks in Monday's draw against Middlesbrough. With Wayne Rooney missing, Giuseppe Rossi is likely to be on the bench but Gabriel Heinze will not start despite recovering from a groin strain.

England defender Luke Young will not make his Charlton comeback in time to give Sven-Goran Eriksson a World Cup reminder but his lack of match fitness has prompted Addicks boss Alan Curbishley to leave him out in his last game in charge.

Newcastle (7) v Chelsea (1)

Newcastle striker Michael Owen will undergo a late fitness test. He underwent scans on his injured foot after feeling pain following his comeback at Birmingham last weekend, and will be assessed after training tomorrow. Emre returns from a groin injury and should start.

England midfielder Frank Lampard will be rested for Chelsea after making his last club appearance of the season against Blackburn. Defender John Terry is recovering from his ankle injury so also misses out, while goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini will deputise for Petr Cech once again. Midfielders Michael Essien and Claude Makelele are also expected to be rested.

Portsmouth (17) v Liverpool (3)

Pompey midfielder Pedro Mendes (thigh), striker Lomana LuaLua (ankle ligaments) and centre-half Andy O'Brien (knee) are major fitness doubts — while Gary O'Neil has been playing despite a painful foot injury. Azar Karadas is ruled out through illness, and on-loan winger Wayne Routledge is a likely starter.

Luis Garcia is suspended while Bolo Zenden is still recovering from knee surgery. Harry Kewell and Steve Finnan will return to the squad after being rested for last weekend's win over Aston Villa with minor knocks. Robbie Fowler could return to the starting line-up.

West Ham (9) v Tottenham (4)

West Ham are set to be without Matthew Etherington after the winger injured his ankle in training. Dean Ashton is also out after damaging his hamstring and he is undergoing treatment in an oxygen tent in a bid to be fit for the FA Cup final.

Tottenham's Ledley King (foot) and Jermaine Jenas (shin) are both ruled out, while there are major doubts over Robbie Keane (ankle), Mido (knee), Paul Stalteri (knee) and Michael Carrick (calf). Edgar Davids returns from suspension.
