Celtic’s trip to Dundee postponed due to a waterlogged pitch

Rony Deila’s side won’t play on Wednesday after Dens Park pitch fails inspection

Dundee's home Ladbrokes Premiership game against Celtic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Dens Park pitch failed a 1.15pm inspection with the Tayside club’s official Twitter account confirming the decision: “Tonight’s match vs. Celtic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch after a referee’s pitch inspection.”

Meanwhile, Aberdeen confirmed on their official Twitter acount that they had no plans to inspect their Pittodrie pitch ahead of their game against Partick Thistle.

The Granite City club tweeted: “Tonight’s game against Partick Thistle remains ON and at present there are no plans for a pitch inspection.”
