Moyne CS put in a strong first-half display to defeat Mount Temple at Barnhall yesterday.

Scrum-half Sean Diffley got their first try and this was followed by a brace of tries from Declan Farrell, giving Moyne a 15-0 interval lead.

The Dublin school dominated the second half and almost scored twice during the third quarter.

However, Moyne lifted the siege and were worthy winners, even if Mount Temple hardly deserved to finish without a score.
