Fermanagh 2-15 St Mary's 1-5:Two first-half goals helped Fermanagh to their second win in five days at Brewster Park.

Fermanagh led by 2-7 to 1-2 at half-time after former Irish League soccer star Shane McCabe found the bottom of the net after half an hour, and Paul Ward added a second goal four minutes later.

Peter Canavan’s side had far too much firepower for St Mary’s who led briefly after Brian Doyle’s goal in the 20th minute. Erne goalkeeper Chris Snow then pulled off a fine save from James Duffy, who was put through one-one-one and, when he missed the chance, St Mary’s’ challenge evaporated.

The struggling students only hit three points in the second-half as Fermanagh pulled away, Ward and Daryl Keenan hitting 0-6 between them after the break. Keenan was particularly impressive with three points from play.
