TIPPERARY SHC SEMI-FINALS/Clonoulty-Rossmore 2-14 Thurles Sarsfields 0-15:LAR CORBETT and David Kennedy were both sent off as holders Thurles were dumped out of the championship by Clonoulty-Rossmore in yesterday's semi-final. Sub David Kennedy received a straight red card in the 59th minute before Corbett picked up a second yellow in stoppage time.

First-half goals from Timmy Hammersley (via a free) and Ciaran Quirke helped Clonoulty lead 2-5 to 0-8 at the break. Sars trailed by just three late on. But Clonoulty clipped over a couple of late points to seal a famous win.
