Madam, - With regard to the complaints from the Consumers' Association about New Year's Eve revellers being grossly overcharged for drinks in some establishments in Dublin (The Irish Times, January 2nd), the people who sheepishly hand over that kind of money deserve to be ripped of.
That is exactly the kind of behaviour a that allows "rip-off Ireland" to flourish. - Yours, etc.,
