Eurovision boycott

Sir, – Zoë Lawlor is the latest person to call for Ireland to boycott the Eurovision Song Contest for one reason or another (“Ireland has a duty to boycott Eurovision”, Opinion & Analysis, April 30th). It has been apparent for some time now that, in its choices of songs, Ireland has been subtly boycotting the contest for years. – Yours, etc,
