The political leadership of Wales held a series of meetings in Dublin yesterday during its first official visit to Ireland since devolution.

The Secretary of State for Wales, Mr Paul Murphy, and the First Secretary of the Welsh National Assembly, Mr Rhodri Morgan, paid courtesy calls on the President, Mrs McAleese, and the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern. They held talks with the IDA, Enterprise Ireland and Bord Failte on the development of an economic strategy for Wales.
