Victims of Dublin Bay sailing collision named

The three people who died in the yachting accident in Dublin Bay last night have been named this evening.

The three people who died in the yachting accident in Dublin Bay last night have been named this evening.

They were Mark Styles (39), from Knocklyon Close, Knocklyon, Rowan Smith (49) from Hazelbrook Road, Terenure and Eleanor Cullen from Kerrymount Rise, Foxrock.

Mark Styles' brother Glen is still missing.

All four people were married with two children each.

The survivor of the incident Philip Daly from Moyville, Ballyboden, is currently recovering in hospital in Dún Laoghaire.

The Debonairsail boat in which all four were sailing, sank after colliding with the Bluebirdcargo vessel at around 3.45 a.m.

The yacht's wreckage has been located east of the Poolbeg lighthouse.
