US company Sandisk Corporation has announced plans to move its European, Middle East and Africa headquarters to its existing plant in Swords, Co Dublin.

The group is hoping to increase employment from 12 people to 50 by the end of 2007.

The company is recruiting multilingual sales, marketing and finance staff.

Sandisk is the original inventor of flash storage cards and is the world's largest supplier of flash data storage card products, using its patented, high-density flash memory and controller technology.
