Two men have been injured in a paramilitary style attack by three masked men.

Two men have been injured in a paramilitary style attack by three masked men.

A 19-year-old was shot in the leg during the incident in west Belfast at 8pm last night, close to garages at Culmore Gardens.

A 23-year-old suffered a slight injury to his leg after an attempt was made to shoot him

The attack has been condemned by local SDLP councillor Tim Attwood, who branded it a “pointless attack with a pointless outcome”.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland has appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
