Two people were injured in separate "punishment" attacks in the New Lodge area of north Belfast on Wednesday night. A 21 year old woman was assaulted behind Spamount Street by five men and two women, who punched her and poured red paint over her head. A 20 year old man had his legs broken when he was attacked near Hillman Street.
