Two hurt, one critically, in Tipperary crash

Two teenagers  have been injured, one critically, in a collision between a truck and a tractor in Co Tipperary this afternoon.

The crash happened at 3.40pm at Knocknaroe, two miles north of Templemore on the Roscrea Road.

The two injured youths were on the tractor.

They were taken to hospital in Nenagh. One was later transferred to Limerick General Hospital where his condition is said to be critical.

The truck driver was not hurt.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them at at Templemore Garda Station on 0504-32630.
