Tobacco and alcohol with a value of £8,500 were seized by customs officers from the Revenue Mobile Service at Dublin Port yesterday. The officers also seized a vehicle worth £150,000. The driver of the car, a man in his 50s from Cork city, was questioned and later released. A file is being prepared for the DPP. It is believed the goods were destined for the Cork street market.
