Gardaí are today continuing a murder investigation after the fatal shooting of a man in Sligo.
The 23-year-old man died in Sligo General Hospital last night.
The victim, who has not been named, was shot at least twice after answering his front door in the Cranmore area shortly after 11pm on Friday night.
Gardaí have said they are following a number of lines of inquiry into the shooting and have appealed for anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
