Samaritan high priest buried

Jerusalem - The high priest of the Israelite community of Samaritans, which broke away from mainstream Judaism 26 centuries ago, died yesterday in the West Bank town of Nablus, officials said. Nearly 400 people, most of the Samaritan community, attended the funeral of 77-yearold Yussef Abu al-Hassan.
