A Ryanair air hostess from Strabane, Co Tyrone has appeared in court charged in connection with the seizure of stun gun at her home.
Ms Sinead McDermott (24) was arrested after police raided her house at Croghan View last night.
Ms McDermott, a Ryanair cabin crew member, was today charged with the possession of a 500 volt stun gun at her home, contrary to Article 6 of the Fire Arms (N.I.) Order 1981.
A detective constable told Stabane Magistrate's Court that when he charged the defendant in Strabane police station in the early hours of yesterday morning she replied "no".
Ms McDermott was remanded in custody to appear before the same court on July 1st.
Another woman and a man who were also detained in the defendant's house last night were later released without charge pending a police report to the DPP.
