BRITAIN: A teacher to Britain's Prince Harry won her claim for unfair dismissal from Eton College yesterday, but a tribunal rejected her allegation that she helped the young prince cheat at exams.

Harry's former art teacher, Sarah Forsyth, said she had been forced by a senior member of staff to contribute to written material that Harry submitted with his paintings for an art exam.

She had secretly taped the prince talking, which she said proved she had helped him cheat.

In a long statement on the case, the employment tribunal said that while Eton had not followed the proper procedures in discussing Ms Forsyth's contract and had therefore dismissed her unfairly, she had "altered her evidence" in relation to the allegations against Prince Harry.

"On the whole, the tribunal accepts her evidence as truthful," the statement said. "The one area where she did alter her evidence was in relation to her allegations concerning Prince Harry's expressive art project and the assistance she says she was required to give him." The tribunal threw out a claim of sexual discrimination. - (Reuters)
