The President, Mrs Robinson, begins a visit to Belfast today with an address to the Consultative Conference of, European Methodist Churches, at Stranmillis College, where she will speak on reconciliation. She will then visit the Short Strand area in east Belfast to open the new offices of the Short Strand Community Partnership.

The President will attend a lunch for delegates to the Methodist conference hosted by the Northern Ireland Minister of State, Mr Michael Ancram, at Hillsborough Castle.

She will visit a women's resource centre and library, Women Too, in the loyalist Village area of south Belfast before opening of the Upper Springfield Development Trust in west Belfast.
