The family of Ms Marie Cronin, whose body was discovered in Athens on May 30th, have criticised fresh reports of her death. A spokeswoman for the family said a wire service report that Ms Cronin (34) suffered multiple head injuries from an axe or other such weapon were false. "These sort of erroneous reports certainly do not help the family as they try to get over the death." The family said Ms Cronin (34), from Cedarmount Road, Mount Merrion, Dublin, died from a single blow to the head.
