A new Church of Ireland Bishop of Down and Dromore could be elected on Friday when the electoral college for the see meets in Armagh. The vacancy has occurred because of the retirement of Bishop Gordon McMullan. The college will be chaired by the Archbishop of Armagh, Dr Robin Eames.
