Monkeys cloned from embryos

WASHINGTON Scientists in Oregon have produced monkeys from cloned embryos, the first time that a species closely related to humans has been cloned. The Washington Post reported yesterday that scientists had used a technique similar to the one Scottish researchers employed to clone sheep. Experts said the Oregon cloning success was evidence there are no insurmountable biological barriers to creating human clones.
