The body of a man in his forties was found on a beach near Belmullet, Co Mayo this evening.
The man’s body was found shortly after 5 p.m. by the Ballyglas Coastguard team who were conducting a shoreline search in the area.
The body has been taken to Castlebar where a post mortem is to be carried out.
