A man accused of murdering a Dublin civil servant, Ms Marilyn Rynn, has been returned for trial to the present sittings of the Central Criminal Court.

Mr David Lawler (32), of Edgewood Lawn, Blanchardstown, Co Dublin, is also accused of raping the woman in the Tolka Valley between December 22nd and January 7th last year.

Judge William Hamill ruled in the Dublin District Court, that there was a sufficient case to answer and remanded the accused man on continuing High Court bail.
