A MAN in his forties from Balbriggan, Co Dublin, was killed and his five children injured in a three car collision near Julianstown, Co Meath, yesterday. The collision took place at 6.20 p.m. half a mile south of the village on the main Dublin Belfast road.
The children were removed by ambulance to the Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. Gardai said at least one appeared to be seriously injured. The woman driver of a second car had to be cut from the wreckage but did not appear to be badly injured.
