A Dublin man who robbed a bank in Balla, Co Mayo, has been jailed for two years and nine months. Eoghan Houlihan (20), from Bulfin Gardens, Inchicore, pleaded guilty to stealing £1,750 on September 28th, 1995. A jury had been sworn in at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to try Houlihan on four charges to which he had pleaded not guilty.
