Man in court over Tallaght assault

A 43-year-old man is due in court today charged in connection with a serious assault in Tallaght, Co Dublin last August.

A 32-year-old woman sustained serious head injuries during the attack at her home on St Dominic’s Terrace.

Following a Garda investigation, the man was arrested in Germany.

He will appear before a sitting of Tallaght District Court this morning.
