Man held over loyalist murder of teenagers

A man has been arrested over the murder of two Protestant teenagers in Co Armagh more than five years ago.

A man has been arrested over the murder of two Protestant teenagers in Co Armagh more than five years ago.

The man (25) is being held in Coalisland, Co Tyrone, by police investigating the killing of Andrew Robb (19) and David McIlwane (18) in February 2002.

The teenagers' bodies were found near Tandragee in Co Armagh; they had been beaten and stabbed a number of times. The UVF is suspected of being involved in the killings as part of loyalist feuding in Co Armagh.

There were widespread media reports that some of those involved in the killing were also working as agents for Special Branch.
