Gardaí are questioning a man in connection with the seizure of herbal cannabis worth €240,000 in Limerick this morning.

Gardaí are questioning a man in connection with the seizure of herbal cannabis worth €240,000 in Limerick this morning.

The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested after gardaí stopped a car he was driving in the Castleconnell area and found the drugs.

The man is being held at Henry Street Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
