A man is to appear in Dublin District Court today in connection with the death of a man whose decomposed body was found in a disused shed near Dublin Airport in 1999.
The body of Mr Noel Heffernan (35), of Ballyfermot Road, Dublin, was discovered on August 15th 1999 after he had been reported missing 10 days previously.
The body was recovered from a shed on Barbarstown Lane off the new Naul Road on land owned by Aer Rianta.
Identification had proved difficult because the man suffered severe head injuries and his body was significantly decomposed.
