A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 16-year-old boy in Dublin last month.
The boy was seriously injured on the Lismore Road in Crumlin when a number of shots were fired from a passing car on October 9th.
Gardaí believe the boy was shot by mistake because he was standing beside the intended target when the gunman opened fire.
The arrested man was taken into custody at Crumlin Garda station yesterday, and is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
