A man accused of a £26,000 benefits fraud in the North while living in Donegal was banned yesterday from entering the Republic.

The order was made in the High Court in Belfast by Lord Justice Nicholson when he granted bail to Mr Anthony Martin Fisher (33), whose address was given as Birdstown, Ballindrait, Lifford.

Mr Fisher faces 10 charges of deception at DHSS offices in Belfast, Derry, Limavady and Omagh over a five-year period. He was released on bail.
