A man was arrested this morning over an assault in Waterford yesterday evening that left another man in intensive care.
The man (20) is being questioned in Waterford Garda Station over the attack on John Street. He is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The victim (18) is in intensive care in Waterford Regional Hospital suffering serious head injuries.
