Le Havre - Some 30 refugees from Kosovo were arrested in Le Havre as illegal immigrants by French border police as they prepared to enter Britain, police sources said yesterday.
The group of men, women and children, who arrived in the French port on Monday night, were preparing to board a ferry for Portsmouth. Released soon after their arrest, they then headed by train for Paris, where they hoped to find shelter in a hostel.
