Prague - The battle between striking Czech Television workers and management boiled over yesterday as journalists took over the station's headquarters, appointed their own director and called for fresh public demonstrations.
Mr Ladislav Paluska, a former finance director for Czech Television, was appointed director by journalists at the centre of a dispute over alleged political interference.
