The Offaly man who died following a plane crash in Hawaii last month will be buried this weekend.

Tullamore man Damien Horan died when the aircraft he was piloting crashed just after taking off from the island of Kauai on May 23rd.

The 30-year-old and four others who were aboard the plane received fatal injuries in the crash.

Funeral mass for Mr Horan will take place on Saturday June 11th at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore.

Burial will take place afterwards in Clonminch Cemetery, Tullamore.
