Leading British scientist and current chairman of the UK Committee for the Public Understanding of Science, Professor Lewis Wolpert, will tomorrow deliver a lecture in Dublin which asks whether science has become too dangerous. The free public event, organised by The Irish Times and the RDS, is designed for a general audience and will be delivered in non-technical language. Those wishing to attend should book a place by ringing Ms Carol Power at the RDS in Dublin (668-0866). A limited number of seats may also be available at the door. The lecture will be held in the RDS concert hall at 7pm. Doors open at 6.30pm.
