Gardaí have renewed their appeal for assistance in their inquiry into the murder of a Somalian man whose mutilated body was found in the Royal Canal in Dublin earlier this year.

The decapitated body of Farah Swaleh Noor (38), who had been living in Ireland since 1996, was found last March by a man walking along the canal near Ballybough Road. His arms and legs were found nearby.

Three women and a man were arrested last week in connection with the murder. have been freed without charge. They were freed without charge. Files are to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
